WAKO 2021 Senior World Championships

The 2021 Senior World Championships took place in Jesolo, Italy and brought over 1000 competitors from over 60 countries to compete in various combat and forms and weapons divisions. WAKO allows a competitor to make a one time designation to compete in an age division above their actual age. This allowed Olivia to forgo her final years of eligibility as a junior competitor to compete in this year’s Senior Championships.

Being the youngest in her divisions didn’t stop Olivia from winning a gold medal in Musical Forms and Silver Medals in both Musical Weapons and Creative Forms. This brings her WAKO totals to two gold medals (World Champion) and three silver medals in two World Championship events.
